Be still

Are you feeling a little lost?

As someone who is also soul searching, myself, I’m here to enlighten you on some ground breaking news I recently stumbled into.

In the middle of chaos, you should only be still.

When the voices are louder than ever and it feels like you had everything you worked so hard for taken in a second, be still.

Psalm 46:10

“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Let this scripture guide you to an understanding that you should seek God as your refuge and your strength.

Among all the noise and the fear that you feel, ground yourself in knowing that you will never be alone.

Just this week I found myself in a situation that had me doubting so many things. From friendships, to even doubting who I really am.

This feeling was so powerful that it had me shaken up all day and even into the next morning.

I prayed every time this feeling came back.

What could have this hold on me? I’ve got to get back to my old self. I know who I am and I know my values.

I felt as though that next day was a part of my story. I met an acquaintance who would help me understand this groundbreaking news.

I left work feeling a sense of relief and I had a lot to think about.

Be still.

Every question I had, every scenario I would think of, all led me to the same conclusion.

Be still.

If you just can’t shake the noise and the fear has you on your knees.

Be still.

I pray you find your way. May God be with you, even in the chaos. God bless you all.
